Designed by dwp, Women’s Centre, New gynecology centre is located in Bangkok, Thailand. dwp has been commissioned by Bumrungrad International Hospital, located in Bangkok, Thailand, for the renovation of many of its facilities. The overall design concept adopted by dwp for the clinics as well as the public areas creates a calm, contemporary atmosphere to welcome patients and visitors. It makes use of natural materials, tonal colour palettes, accent lighting solutions, custom signage systems and graphics to evoke a sense of comfort, wellness and warmth.

dwp undertook the full renovation and upgrade of the Women’s Centre interior and FF&E design, completed in March 2010. The brief was to create a fresh and contemporary identity for this centre, while complimenting other areas and ongoing refurbishment works in the community. The functional and spatial requirements of the brief meant the layout needed to be very efficient but also be generous and practical in providing user comfort to the patients, visitors and the staff.
