The Waterfalls designed by Editorial is located in New York, United States.  The project inserts man-made waterfalls, each measuring 90 –120 feet high, at four locations in the East River and New York Harbor. The Waterfalls, which will be visible by land or boat, can be viewed from the Brooklyn Bridge on the Brooklyn Anchorage, the North shore of Governor’s Island, Pier 35 in Lower Manhattan north of Rutgers Street and between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn. Dedicated boat tours will be organized by the Circle Line Downtown in collaboration with the Public Art Fund.

New York City Waterfalls has been championed as an environmentally sustainable, carbon-neutral project. The structures will not only protect fish, aquatic life the river and the shoreline, but also run on “green power” – electricity generated from renewable resources for its operation.
