Located in Italy, The Villa Peduzzi, In September, the two upper floors of the grand residence will become a 600 sq m duplex with two large roof cut-outs, providing terraces with stunning views out onto the neighbouring Lake Como. Along the same lines, the ground and first floors will each be turned into 300 sq m apartments occupying an entire floor with four and three bedrooms.
Whilst much of the original grandeur remains in the building, it needs a drastic upgrade to bring the facilities up to par for modern living. The 14month project will include updated bathrooms and heating, doors, windows and shutters fully restored using replacement materials constructed identically to the original design and the restoration of the original frescos throughout the entire building – currently said to be in incredibly good condition despite the villa being unoccupied for the last fifty years.
Additional modern facilities include high-end kitchen and bathroom fittings, air conditioning, high-quality heating systems, an infinity pool and Jacuzzi, changing rooms and shower room, an underground garage and extensive lighting to illuminate the villa and grounds.
