The signature towers are gone but the industrial frame and tall arched windows of the 1906 McKim Mead and White designed power station have been retained in a new, modernist rework that includes a four storey addition.
Escobar’s spare yet modern interiors feature a spacious lobby with polished concrete floors with white-glass panel, natural wood and brick walls. The residences are furnished with luxury baths and radiant kitchens of quartz and stainless steel. The building amenities include a full service spa; fitness center, screening room, business center and a child’s play area.
