The Library of the Shikoku Gakuin University designed by Showa Sekkei,Inc is located in Zentsuji, Japan. The campus is surrounded by the mountain range of the region. Because it is the only university in the city, the Library of the Shikoku Gakuin University cooperates with the City Library, sharing books, publications, materials, interlibrary computer system terminals and other resources. This library is open not only to university students and personnel, but also to all the citizenry, so that they can access a wide range of information, as well as disseminate ideas and works that they create.

One section of the library building has a vaulted ceiling above the ground and first floors, unifying the two storeys in this section into one grand space. This opens up the area to accommodate rows bookshelves that constitute giant walls of books, as well as reading areas.
