TEXO® consists of an aluminium extrusion frame system which can be clad with a huge variety of solid and mesh fabric types. An elastomeric strip attached to the fabric performs like a spring and ensures the fabric is constantly held in pre-tension whatever the environment. This results in an extremely lightweight permanent cladding solution and massively reduces the loads transmitted to the primary structure compared to traditional tensile fabric engineering principals.

Evolution of the system has created new extrusions which carry a double fabric skin, and also create a ‘lightbox’ option. The next phase of TEXO® development will add photovoltaic fabric for façades and roofs; further strengthening the product’s environmental credentials.
