Designed by HOK International, Silverstone pitlane is located in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. The Silverstone site, approximately 850 acres, is one of the world’s most famous motor racing venues, located approximately 60 miles North of London, where the British Grand Prix is currently held. During the past few years, a number of major improvements have been implemented including revisions to traffic and access, BRDC headquarters and a purpose built Porsche testing facility.

Further site developments are required to ensure sustainability and future British Grand Prix’s being held at Silverstone. Key to this is the development of a new Pitlane and Paddock complex which is intended to be the catalyst for an integrated approach to regenerate an underutilised facility by the development of a site wide development strategy which will adopt a master plan of which phase 1 has been completed by HOK sport architecture.
