Ruby Hall Clinic in Wanworie – Pune, India

Designed by Chaney Architects, Ruby Hall Clinic is located in Wanworie – Pune, India. The acre and a half narrow site is located in the midst of a burgeoning middle class new suburb. The brief threw up a slew of challenges: there is no comprehensive medical care facility in the vicinity, therefore the catchment area to cater to is huge. It also meant that there was a need for a multi-disciplinary hospital rather than a specialty one.

The plan incorporates emergency, diagnostics, out-patients department, private rooms and three state-of-the-art operating theatres. It is well supported with labs, a physiotherapy unit, a kidney dialysis unit, a chemotherapy day-care centre, a cath lab and a small lecture hall.
