Designed by Pro Display, Pro Display Self Adhesive Switchable Film is located in United Kingdom. The self adhesive version comes complete with an electrostatic cling adhesive meaning the film can be simply retro-fitted to new or existing glass without any specialist training. When an electrical current is applied the film can be switched from clear to frosted to create instant privacy or reduce solar heat gain or glare. While in its frosted state the film can also be used as a high-definition projection screen.

St. Andrews Church (Leyland, UK) – Pro Display Switchable Film is currently being used as a high definition projection screen for church services. When not in use, the screen can be switched to clear to ensure the screen does not detract from the grade 2 listed building’s architecture. Without the functionality of the Switchable film switching from clear to frosted, the architect could not overcome planning restrictions imposed.
