Located in St. Louis, United States, the landmark Power House building was designed by Cannon Design (a leading international architectural, engineering and planning firm) is the home for the firm’s St. Louis regional offices. The Power House building was awarded LEED® Gold Status by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Built in 1928, the power plant, an original part of the municipal complex construction of the service, still occupies an entire block of downtown St. Louis. Until the, component of the Power House complex coal provided steam power plants in the 1980s to a dozen buildings downtown. After remaining vacant for nearly 30 years, Cannon Design has purchased the historic home of Power in 2007, providing all design, development and management services for the construction project.
