April 16, 2011 Category: Commercial Building, Office

The One Bryant Park designed by Cook+Fox Architects is located in New York, United States.  Located on the largest development site in Midtown Manhattan, the Bank of America Tower will house the 1.6 million sq ft headquarters for the New York operations of Bank of America and the 50,000 sq ft restored and reconstructed Henry Miller Theater, as well as 1 million sq ft of office space for other tenants.

The building is noteworthy for its pioneering integration of high-performance environmental technologies. The building’s sustainable features include a floor to ceiling high performance glass curtain wall, an advanced under-floor air delivery system and an on site cogeneration plant which works in concert with an ice-storage system to reduce energy demands. The tower will also capture and reuse nearly all rainwater and wastewater, saving millions of gallons of clean water each year.
