Nobu Dubai that located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was designed by Rockwell Group. The restaurant’s design is an evolution of many of the concepts Rockwell Group developed for the flagship Nobu 57 in New York but with an Arabian flair. To anchor the restaurant to its location, Rockwell Group surrounded the restaurant walls with large hand-woven abaca panels to evoke an environment submerged under an ocean wave and added accents of traditional Middle Eastern vernacular architecture such as hand-wrought iron columns of flowers, leaves and buds.
The well-established and highly regarded Japanese restaurant chain, Nobu, named for world renowned chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa with locations worldwide, is extending its iconic brand to the Middle East with the opening of Nobu Dubai at Atlantis The Palm on Palm Jumeirah. The 11,500 sq ft restaurant, designed by New York based Rockwell Group, opened in September.
A 600-foot long curved river rock wall and laser cut metal screen of cherry blossoms mark the entry to the bar. The bar itself is made from 3 inch solid timber planks with a backlit onyx front. For the lounge, Rockwell Group developed curved translucent flower panels, which form an elliptical shape around the center of the space to form an area for private events.
In addition to Nobu Atlantis, Rockwell Group is designing a Nobu restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel on the harbor in Doha, Qatar, due to open next November.

The construction industry is improving every day, they are not looking for world record, but ways to put more people in our cities. And as somebody told you before, the burj dubai is tall very tall but still a lot of room to reach heaven.
