This Shelter called Newark-Elizabeth Rail Link, located in downtown Newark, New Jersey, in United States. The first of three operating segments of the Newark-Elizabeth Rail Link was completed by FXFOWLE ARCHITECTS, working with BRW Inc. and Parsons Brinckerhoff Engineers. The first operating segment is comprised of 4 stations linking Penn Station, Newark, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, a sports stadium and the Broad Street commuter rail station. Each station design reflects the unique characteristics of its immediate urban context, and includes canopies, seating areas, lighting and landscape elements, and art installations. The streetscape corridors between the stations are treated as design links and include new lighting, paving and landscaping.
