Designed by Steven Holl Architects, National University of Colombia is located in Bogotá, Colombia. This angular white volume for the National University of Colombia by Steven Holl and Chris McVoy builds upon the architectural foundations laid down by designer Leopold Rother in the 1930s.

Spread over 6,400 sq m, the pure white building is comprised of an auditorium with capacity for 600 seated guests, a cantilevered restaurant with various roof terraces overlooking the scenic mountainous ridges nearby, an ‘upside down’ section shaping a grotto water garden, and a quiet reflecting pool of rain- and grey-water which emits the sound of trickling water.
