Located in Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia, Luna2 private hotel was designed by David Wahl Architects. Luna2 private hotel’s architecture is reminiscent of modernism of Europe and the US. It is an architectural style that would be more expected on the shores of South Beach Miami than Seminyak Beach in Bali. The building brought the modernist style out of its classic location and era and into a new habitat, propelling it into the future. Although startling at first, the building is now a welcome surprise for residents and tourists alike, pushing design boundaries in a community bound by traditional construction rules.

Luna2 private hotel combines locally sourced and imported materials according to their quality and adherence to the design vision. The imported tiled interior Italian flooring is factory-made terrazzo with metallic silver chips, and is more durable, non-porous and more sophisticated than locally poured terrazzo.
