Designed by architects Paleko Archstudija, Litexpo Exhition Paviliona that located in Vilnius, Lithuania is a multi-functionals pavilion of exhibitions, congresses and conferences. Litexpo exhibition pavilion plot is located between green Vilnius city slopes and the Neris river. The aim was to create an integral urban concept of the exhibition pavilion, to join the existing pavilions into one compact functional structure leaving a possibility to expand. The triangular building‘s form retains visual bonds to the city slopes and outlines the direction for the further expansion of the territory. The exact compact form becomes an accent, while glass facades reflect natural environment.
Total space of the building is 9000 m². The main exposition space is created without pillars in two levels: the first floor and the balcony. This space is applied both for expositions and a 2000 seats concert or congress hall. A new outside exposition square is created in front of the pavilion that is joined to its inner space and serves as a certain expansion. This helps to preserve a link between the inner and outer spaces. The interior part of the building is strict and laconic, since interior should not distract attention from exhibits. Since the building is a multifunctional one, communication parts are gently covered by light colored shields. These are fixed on rotating joints and can easily change the surface of the wall using a simple turn.
