Designed by IAD (International Architecture Development), the Les Terrasses Cultural is Leisure and Retail Centre that located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Porto Pi is among the wide range of facilities belonging to the group Sacyr Vallhermoso Testa, an unusual building nestled between two rocky cliffs at the end of the bay of Palma, overlooking the marina oriented and subsistence Spanish King. The original building dates from the 1980s and needed an interior renovation that its external image of a sunken vessel remains valid and communications, although the tone of the three industrial floors need to be updated. Parallel to this fundamental change is the treatment outside in the streets of detail and extension of two two-story buildings on the terrace of the center.

The Terraces of 20,000 m2 is a cultural, recreational and retail expansion Porto Pi shopping center‘s main city of Palma de Mallorca. Taking full advantage of the location on the roof of the building located on Porto Pi waterfront of the city, and borrow freely nautical references such as steel, painted white with contrasting strips of wood and silk-screened glass, the Cutting gulf between the two prisms creates a perfect walk in which to walk and shop freely.

The architecture project seeks to make the essence of vocabularies retail opportunities to recreate, to simplify the path of visitors who see no easy new habits, thus generating a new environment in accordance with the shop owners is really an exercise in equilibrium.
