Located in São Paulo, Braz, Jatoba Green Building was designed by Aflalo e Gasperini Arquitetos, Jatoba Green Building is a new commercial project completed in Brazil by Aflalo e Gasperini Arquitetos. The final volume of this commercial structure is described by the architect as ‘a consequence of a desire’. Its site plan provides an ample space from the main access, through a huge and unique reception plaza. The building is stoned by its facades, where distinct openings sport different aesthetic finishes to provide a more ecologically efficient building.
Openings oriented to the sunshine and sunset (east and west facades), that regularly face direct sun light were minimised. The openings oriented to north receives direct sun light during all day at a lower intensity, and therefore have been covered with brise-soleils that allow the facade to become a curtain wall. The project development was conducted to target ambient sustainability in the enterprise.
