Hudson Greene that located in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States, was designed by CetraRuddy. Hudson Greene is a 1.4 million sq ft residential complex that creates the premier community on the Hudson River in New Jersey. Two faceted 48-storey towers; one condominium and one rental (77 Hudson and 70 Greene respectively), sit atop a shared 11-storey parking and retail component with a 32,000 sq ft lushly landscaped green deck with hotel-quality amenities.
The design successfully addressed various complexities such as connecting and relating to an adjacent historic district known as Paulus Hook as well as to the scale of the Manhattan skyline. The building design creates an iconic form that includes three shades of blue-green glass inspired by the changing colours of the Hudson River.
The building creates a new vertical community that provides a sense of place and ‘small town’ spirit within a tower. The design is an unusually sculpted pair of iconic towers to maximise the views and successfully translating them into unique and functional floor plans with elegant interiors. The towers’ unique form and its floor-to-ceiling curtain wall creates spectacular apartments, all with glass corners and unparalleled views.
Hudson Greene combines the best of suburban and urban living, creating inspiring highly crafted homes with the highest quality design principles in a waterfront high density community.
