Cleveland Clinic Foundation – Miller Family Pavilion and Glickman Tower that located in Cleveland, United States, was designed by NBBJ. Inspired by the elegant atmosphere of a museum, the interiors serve as simple backdrops for the compassionate delivery of healthcare, and enjoyment of daylight, scenic views and humanising art.
The double-height main lobby is bright with soaring luminous white walls complemented by terrazzo floors, frosted interior glass and floor-to-ceiling windows that infuse the space with natural light. Leather seating, walnut doors and stainless steel and bush hammer accented slate reception desks and elevator lobby thresholds contrast the bright backdrops, and provide visitors with easily identifiable pathways and destinations.
All 278 patient rooms are private, spacious, and include a wood-paneled accent wall with flat screen televisions and comfortable built-in pull-out sofas. Medical equipment is easily accessible, but neatly hidden behind sliding panels. Bedside technology and room amenities give the patient control over their environment. All rooms include floor-to-ceiling windows, offering patients an abundance of natural light and plentiful views. A rooftop plaza provides patients, guests and employees with a peaceful place to relax, enjoy fresh air and have a respite.
