Cinema City in Pardubice, Czech Republic
Located in Pardubice, Czech Republic, Cinema City was designed by Chapman Taylor. This 8-screen cinema, designed by international architects Chapman Taylor, is the largest in the town of Pardubice and is situated within the 20,000 sq m shopping gallery, AFI Palace Pardubice, completed in November 2008.
In accordance with the refreshed corporate design concept of Cinema City, the foyer is dominated by a black ceiling with indirect red feature lighting. The ticket sales and manager’s offices are located centrally within an aluminium clad pod. Radial lighting from this circular form completes the impression of a dome.
The design applies Cinema City’s distinct brand colours and materials to a unique design which enhances the use and feel of the space.
