The Business School, University of Technology Sydney designed by Gehry Partners LLP is located in Australia. The concept design is undeniably a ‘Gehry’, with its crumpled facades folding in luxurious sand-hued swathes, punctuated with jarringly crisp windows. Already nicknamed ‘The Treehouse’, the architect describes his most recent work as ‘a trunk and core of activity and… branches for people to connect and do their private work’.
Gehry has lectured at UTS in the past and has since returned to leave a much more permanent reminder. Four masters’ students from the University have also been offered the opportunity to undertake two-month paid internships at the Gehry Partners base in Los Angeles.
