Boho One that located in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, was designed by xsite architecture LLP. DigitalCity Business is a regeneration project core funded by One North East (RDA) and managed within Middlesbrough Council by a dedicated team.
Boho One achieves this by using an open circulation route connecting office spaces and marked with ‘network spaces’ that occur on landings, on benches outside lifts, on link bridges between towers and in network pods that hang on the ends of these bridges. The three upper storeys are turned ninety degrees over the ground floor to form ‘towers’ rising over two roof terraces at first floor and allowing daylight into the ground floor concourse area.
The ground floor is clad with blue brick, above the three discreet towers are clad with black riven face ceramic tile, red Trespa panel and pre weathered zinc planks in an attempt with internal colour, shape and visual connection to create a language for its occupants to navigate the building.
