Designed by Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects, Bleecker Street Subway Station is located in New York, United States Alongside the contemporary remodeling and upgrade of the station, many of the original features are to be carefully restored to their former glory. White ceramic tiles, blue terracotta plaques and faience, mosaic bands and roman brick wainscoting with marble caps will be used to transform the historical artifacts and wall finishes throughout the station. All eight of the original ‘Bleecker Station’ terracotta name plaques will also be repaired and restored.

Construction will comprise of two 182.9m platforms, associated entrances, control areas and transfer passageways, while an escalator and four elevators will be installed to bring new accessibility to the station.
