9th October Administrative Complex that located in Valencia, Spain, was designed by AIC EQUIP S,L, The 9th October administrative complex project, in Valencia was created in response to several brief requirements, such as creating an administrative city within the walls of the old prison and making the project unintimidating and inviting to the general public.

EQUIP Arquitectos e Ingenieros have achieved this rejuvenation without losing the heritage of the historic building or its unique character. The relationship between the open spaces of the project has been optimised to ensure mobility and ease of access. The requirements of the new plant and administration program meant that certain historic sections of the project were protected whilst new sections had to seamlessly integrate with one another.

The project successfully forms its own unique character whilst creating a good relationship with the existing build and its urban environment, allowing users to assess different levels of perception of the project.
